Without AliceXD and Yijie around my blog, it feels quite empty (sob)
Anyway, i hope that everyone is alright!
Muahaha.. since i have nothing to post about today...
I will be listing the things down i want to achieve during this holiday.

4. Spend more time with my mummy

Anyway, i was out on shopping spree with my mum and Chanel..
my bestest friend other than Som and Mariam...

Honestly, i was rather pissed off with some ppl. Well, i guess i should leave some mian zi for them, so im not going to name them. Just to say, if you do not want to go and watch movies, do not accept the invitation at the beginning. Do not wait until the day before to break the news to us. There goes our movie: Madgascar 2!
However, i was lucky. My mum brought me and my brother to watch it on that day itself! Muahaha!

Yesterday, Chanel and I went out. Went to Suntec. Upon reaching there, we went to KFC for our lunch. She is really a rich lady. -.- I have to wait for another 30min before she can finish eating. This is what she told me.

Must slowly eat, slowly chew. Taste the food, smell the aroma. Enjoy your food slowly.

Where in the world to have so much time to nibble your food? LOL.. anyway, have to compromise her cause we are bestest friends. We went to the COSPLAY shop to try on clothes... LOL.. got VK'S UNIFORM!!!After lingering around the shop for a while, we went to drink bubble tea... We were indecisive where to go next. Haha!
In the end, we went to K-BOX...Sang for 3 hours of mix-songs...
Jap, Korean, English, chinese and cantonese...
Standard procedure: We went to take neo-prints despite it was very late...

The best part of today is to be able to enter the operating theatres...
It's exactly the same as shown in tv...
It's cold in there and i get to wear the uniform that surgeons wear...
YES!!!
I hope one day i will be able to enter that place again to perform surgeries on patients, to save lives!

IM SUPER TIRED TODAY...
So im going to write a short post today..
My first official working experience in Changi Hospital...
Today, my role is to be a DIETETIAN in the Dietetic and Food Services...
I helped to pack the fruits neatly into baskets to be sent to the patients later on. I also help to pack tissues and utensils into a plastic.
Im so Tired after a day's work..
Sigh, im glad that i went for this work experience...
At least now i know, MONEY doesn't fall from the sky...
Behind the money, are all blood, sweat and hard work...

My phone went cuckoo...so i cannot call out these few days until my dad sent it to repair.. MORAL OF STORY: dO not BUY sony ericsson's phone.. always lag and go cuckoo...

Sayonara to my 2 Bestest frens...
CME are thus separated for a month or so... sob**
Yesterday, along with Took Kee, we went to Changi Airport to send
Mariam And SOM...
We reached there about 4.10pm and we had a difficult time to get pass
the police. There are barriers surrounding the counters in T1.
Anyway, Som as usual, was waiting for us there. She was super pissed off with MARIAM..Again, she is late.
Som reached the airport at 3.45pm whereas Mariam LEFT her house at the same time...
Together, we went to Mac at T2 for lunch.
When we were heading back to T1:

Som: I want to eat cake!
Mariam: Ok lo.. let's go see..
(TK pulling Som's luggage)
While they were looking,
Mariam: Aye, its 6pm already, let's go. The aeroplone leave at 6.50pm.
Emma: Mariam, your 'a' change to 'o' ah??
Mariam: laughs* ya, so my name is MORIOM
Emma: Laughs* my name is EMMO
Mariam: Took kee becomes Taak Kee and Chalisa(som) becomes CHOLISO

On the other hand,
Som: Do you know them?
Took Kee: NO!
Som: Let's chao first!!!

LOL, Mariam and I were laughing all the way back. We laughed even harder when Som dropped her jacket on the floor from her shoulders and she didnt even noticed it. Took Kee just pull her luggage over it. OMG!!! Mariam was totally bonkers! She influenced me. In the end, all became SIAO!

I think i can see the joy and hapiness in Alice's and Yi Jie's face...

Yesterday, i went to Changi General Hospital for my attachment. We didnt do any hands-on stuff yesterday, just some briefing about various wards and departments. The HR department also told us the journey to be a doctor and a specialist. That's wat im interested in. After much calculation, i will need another 6 years after my University to be a Cardiologist and this is provided if i pass the interview. So ppl, please address me as Dr. Chong after 11-12 years later. Im not sure whether i can give you discount, but you can count on me to cure your illness. As for my family, it's FOC to see my face. Lol... bias ><

The food in the hospital was sent by machine. The technician just have to enter the place the machine was needed to go and they headed there during lunch time. They also have a specialised lift for the machine to take to the wards. Lucky, huh?!
We also learnt CPR and how to save ppl when they are choking. Lucky me, i just attended First-AID course last year, and I DO HAVE A CERTIFICATE!!!!
Im a qualified First-Aider!
Im a first-aider, trust me ><

We left the hospital at 4.15pm and took the shuttle bus to Simei Mrt Station.
I slept at 6.50pm last night and woke up this morning at 8am.
I slept approximately for 13 hours!! COOL HUH?!

Today, i will be sending my best friends off at Changi Airport. They will be going back to Thailand. I will be so sad... at Least i still have TK around...
Till then my best frens ><

I think i will need to CHIONG my homework as well as VK episode 18, i missed it during the camp.

Lastly, not forgetting my Honey:

AHHH! IM BACK FROM SL CAMP!
Do you miss me?? Lol...
Though i don feel any excitement in this camp,
i still enjoyed it rather.
MY FIRST TIME being CAMP COM, joining the 'lao jiao'= Old Birds...
I feel kinda slack cause the camp com just have to oversee the activities
and allow the Cheif facs to lead their groups.

Day 1
We had external trainers from the Absorbent Mind to play ice-breaker games...
The activities were very new for us.
It is more challenging and not as lacklustere like Whacko and stuffs...
Susan and I were the CAMERA-WOMEN!
We took lots of photo till we get hooked on...
Now, we can take photos with our eyes closed...
In the later part, we went for a 'talk' froM Mr Chin, the Everest Girls and Mr Imran.
We saw videos of mountaineers climbing Mt-Everst, the difficulties they faced, how they overcome it and how to make the right choice.Well, Mr Imran's speech was rather 'cute"???? He showed us his younger days photos,(he looked like Michael Jackson) and his girlfriend's photo. He also taught us his 3 RULES:
1. Don'T WORK!
2. Be Hated!
3. Love someone
Im not going to emphasize more, u have to think it urself ><

Of all the activities, sleeping was the hardest. I could hear ppl 'playing songs' like snoring... best of all is that their snoring can be heard from Singapore to Malaysia... SUPER LOUD!!! WTH!! How to sleep?? I didnt sleep fot the first night cause when my eyes started to close, Mariam kicked me!In the end, i only had half of the sleeping bag to sleep on....Sleeping on the table is super cooling....

Day2
We went to Changi MOE Adventure Centre. Went there for CRC when in Sec1.
Basically we have activities like Water Rufting??? and Kayaking...
At least i have done over 10 hours of kayaking during OBS, im considered quite experienced. I didnt go this time, busy taking photos with QIQI. SIAN!!
Honestly, where to find apples in CHANGI??? Chan KK??
Alot of ppl were sea-sicked, worse still, ppl vomited.
So, time for Qiqi and I to show our skills as a first aider...
We managed to SURVIVE!! hooray!
Unfortunately, the CAMPFIRE was quite disappointing...
Due to the bad weather, we have our campfire in the canteen.
We cannot get the crowd going, i guess they are tired and it was actually quite boring. Qiqi and I wanted to start off with singing of Hokkien song. Then becoz of that kweky la...The Blind bat... He lost his specs when kayak... The specs swim deep deep down to see the mermaids....
The performances from all groups were all dances, plus camp com also dance... its like watching dancing show...like 'TIAO DANG'...
FOUND OUT SOME SAD NEWS AFTER CAMPFIRE..(to be continued)
But we did ended the camp nicely with some ppt presentation...

Day3
Last day of camp, last year of CAMP...
We held an Amazing Race in School. Quite bored cause most of time, i was hiding in SC room emoiing... We continued with the PrizE Presentation.
CONGRATULATION TO FIRE!! They won this year's camp.
The camp broke after we have our group photo together...
Camp com also lingered around to take photos with Mr Imran who is also leaving Bartley... sob**...

I still have attachments at Changi Hospital tomorrow and the whole of next week... Im feeling quite excited yet very tired too...

Ok. The continuation of the SAD news.
I actually overheard ZZ talking to Ms Ang... maybe it is fated for me to know at that time. I found out that his mum passed away from cancer last Tuesday...this fatal illness came back to her a few times already. BUT she was very strong till the end. ZZ said that she went off peacefully and he was by her side till the end... ZZ is as strong as his mum... Upon hearing the news, tears began flowing from my eyes. I dunno why i reacted tat way but one thing for sure is that, ZZ and I have a very strong bong btw both of us. Both of us cared for each other...
He didnt break the news to me because he didnt want me to worry, ke knew that i will break down which will affect my mood in the Camp... Yet when i knew the news, i struggled not to cry, or cry silently so as not to make him feel worse... esp when ppl ask him wat happened. I actually wanted to visit his mum when i knew that she was sick. However, it was during Exam period and i didnt want to bother him esp when he was taking his O'lvls. I felt sort of guilty as he was by my side when i was super down last year, giving me the support that i need and i was not by his side when he faced 'this'. I knew he didnt want me to worry, but yet it shattered my heart even more when i knew later. I skipped debrief and i accompanied him to visit the Op's room and out of school. Actually, my intention was to have more time with him, hoping that i can give him support too. I wanted to be by his side, but in the end, i couldnt control myself when i heard the story deeper. (i was trying very hard to control). He told me not to think to much. ACtually, i was not thinking at all, my heart felt so sad that my mind gave way to it.Despite my crying and stuff, ZZ was able to stay strong and comfort me. Like a brother, he wiped off my tears also. I walked him out of school, hoping to have more time with him, hoping that he will share his feelings. BUt im sure he will stay strong like his mum, strong willed.

If you have seen the message above, you will know why i cried. I apologize if i have made more pain or troubles esp when ppl ask you. Though you faced it strongly, with a smile, i know that it hurts deep inside. I can understand your feelings and Im really sorry to hear it. I love you as a brother and i will stand by your side no matter wat happens. I have my own stand. I hope that you will excel in your future endeavours and Aunty will be in peace. MAY GOD BLESS ZZ, ALLOW HIM TO BECOME STRONGER TO FACE EVERY SINGLE DIFFICULTY HE MEET IN THE NEAR FUTURE.I have faith in you! When you asked me is there anything i wanted to tell you? Actually i have alot of things to say, yet i couldnt say... I will express it through my blog.Hope that you will bring me to her wake, i want to pay my respect to her.
I am more than ready to strive harder to attain my dream to be a doctor. Not only to save lives but also to give them a second opportunity to live on. Life is unpredictable,one may leave anytime. I just hope that there will be cure for this horrendous cancer.

Went out with Som and Mariam, met at 11.30am...
We waited for MARIAM until 12.oopm....!!!!
The moral of the story is to tell Mariam to meet half an hour before the meeting time..

We managed to watch the movie, "MAX PAYNE"
Actually we know nuts about the story until we watched it.
It's about a detective whose wife and baby was murdered.
He become very depressed and only focus to avenge for his family.
His ex-partner, Alex, was murdered when he found evidence about his wife's death.
Natasha, who Max made during a party was also murdered when he chased him out of his house. Mona, who was Natasha's sister wanted to avenge for her sister's death when she found out that Max was not the murderer. In the end, both of them went on investigating the deaths of their love ones. In similar, all the people who died have a tatoo of a wing. After checking it out, the wing actually appeared in Norse Mythology of a flying devil or creature. In order to go to heaven, they have to be killed by violence.As the story goes on, They found a guy(forgot his name) who was an ex-military commander in a company. That company actually invented a chemical substance, after drinking it , the person will become stronger and have the adrenaline to defend and attack his enemies. A twist of story happened. The murderer was actually Max's ex-boss, BB. Max took the chemical substance when he was nearly drown in the freezing sea.Because of the substance, he was able to see the flying devils around him. However, in the end, he killed BB. He was about to die when BB shot him at the same time, but his wife(probably in his dreams) said "It's not the time yet, Max".
He survived.

Ha! That's all...The story was actually very solemn and serious, however, the two 'kids' beside me was super annoying. Som and Maraim were actually snatching drinks and each of them ate a full packet of popcorns. They were bloated like a balloon when they walked out of the cinema and immediately rushed into the toilet.

We proceed on to buy fruits for Mariam's aunt at Carefour. I can conclude that Som will be a very good housewife in the future. She knew how to pick the sweetest grapes and strawberries. A total perfectionist in fruits. Next time, we will not explore the fruits section...
We continued by taking a train to City Hall to buy Mariam's brother's present----I will keep it as a secret. Next, we went to Mariam's Aunt's house.
She served us with warm hospitality-- Coke with Whipped cream, Cakes, Roasted Chicken wings. Leon also brought 2 frens with him and we made introduction among ourselves. So embarassing! BUt they are all from NUS... our countries future hope ><
We end up playing powder. I was the VICTIM. I was laughing at them in a corner and in the next minute, i was smacked by them on the face. SOB***
Som was the violent one. She grabbed Mariam by the waist and pressed the powder at her...
HAHA***, her face was as white as Edward!!! LOL... ROAR***
We bid goodbye to Aunty and left for HOME....
Though we had an enjoyable outing, i will be busy this coming week.
AND, the thought of Som and Mariam leaving Singapore next week... SOB*** SOB**

FINALLY, its the last day of INSENTIVE....

BUT, i still have to go back to school next and the following week.
SL camp is next Tue to Thur and on Fri + following week, i have to go
to Changi Hospital for my attachment course...

Im so excited to work in the hospital...

Today's lesson was more relaxed...
Ms LEO taught us Excretion during lesson, we talked about the Kidneys and function of it. There's one part when everyone laugh ^^

Ms LEO: Hypothalamus produce less ADH....
Hip: What is Hypothalamus?
Ms Leo: A control station in the brain and it is in the centre of the brain
It produce less Anti-diuretic hormones into bloodstream.
Hip: O, so you mean if we dont have brain, we cannot shit???

WTH!!! everyone was laughing...Ms Leo was almost laughing... lol...

Ms Yong will be leaving on Friday...
I just gave her present today, as a token of thanks for her guidance and concern since I was Sec1 until now. I didnt gave her in class, instead i ran after her when she left the class. I didnt say much, just passed the present.

MY: AIYO!!!!!! Why buy present?
me: haha... just to thank you for all these years.
MY: (SMILES)must take care of yourself ok? Must continue to work hard for maths and most importanly must BE HAPPY!

Then, i started sobbing, as she sayang me. Be Happy are the words that impacted me, every teacher is telling me the same thing. The same thing when Ms Goy left. I know that they really dote on me very much and they really wanted me to be happy. IM HAPPY its just that as i grow, more stress are being accumulated. It's not as carefree when i was in Sec1.
I really hope that she will have a blissful wedding and excel in her future endeavours.GAMBATTE! ishiteru <3

Another shocking news is that Mrs Ng is also leaving us this year. She is leaving to join Zhong Hua Sec. She is a really good teacher, constantly reminding us to improve on our vocabulary, using different methods to teach us in comprehension and composition. I do hope she will enjoy her teaching in the new school.

Sigh, many teachers are leaving us. I feel so sad to let them leave, after they have taught us, no matter how short the period of time is. It seems hard to part, yet everyone has their own path to walk. Though i really cannot bear to part with them, i hope that everyone will be happy! Be strong and strive harder for their future!
My Olevel next year, will not only be for myself, but also to make my parents, and my teachers (esp Ms. J yong, Mrs Ng, Ms.I yong, Ms Goy, Ms Leo....etc..) proud. Be the pride of Bartley and most importantly, able to raise my head and say that im a student not from I.I SCHOOL but a neighbourhood school.

Arghh... im aching all over especially my arms...
All because i carried the Gu Zheng...
Yesterday, 12 members from Gu zheng were invited to play for the opening ceremony of the new reservior at Marina...
We played our first song at 10.15am, had break from 10.30am to 1.00pm...
During that period, Louise, ShiTing, YuShan, Kesline and I took a stroll to have a bird's eye view of Marina. The scenery is simply magnificent!
Our second session of playing started at 1pm...
At 2pm, we went back to school..

It's super nice, its better than D. Grayman...
